Credit Intermediation

Aprova – Intermediação de Crédito Unipessoal Lda, tax identification number (NIPC) 515039381, headquartered at Praça Engenheiro José Vaz Guedes, No. 4C, Store 3, Urbanização Malvarosa, 2615-399 Alverca do Ribatejo, is registered with the Bank of Portugal and carries out credit intermediation activities in accordance with the requirements established by Decree-Law No. 81-C/2017 of July 7. The registration of the credit intermediary can be consulted on the Banking Customer Portal at https://clientebancario.bportugal.pt/.

Where Credit Intermediation for mortgage agreements is concerned, information regarding the existence and amount of commissions or other incentives payable by the lender to the Credit Intermediary will be provided in the FINE European Standardised Information Sheet, as required by the legislation to this type of credit agreement.

As this concerns the intermediation of mortgage credit agreements, the existence and amount of commissions or other incentives to be paid by the lender to the credit intermediary will be disclosed in the European Standardised Information Sheet (ESIS), provided for in the legislation applicable to that type of credit agreement.

 

This document complies with the provisions set out in paragraph 1 of Article 53 of the above-mentioned legal diploma, “Information Duties”. Accordingly, it is stated that, in the event of a dispute, the consumer client may resort to a Consumer Alternative Dispute Resolution Entity. More information is available at www.consumidor.gov.pt. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law.

 

COMPLAINTS

 

Any complaints relating to the provision of credit intermediation services may be submitted by email to qualidade@aprova.pt, in person at Praça Engenheiro José Vaz Guedes, no. 4C, Store 3, Urbanização Malvarosa, 2615-399 Alverca do Ribatejo, by registered postal mail to the same address, describing the situation and details of the complaint, or through the Electronic Complaints Book.

 

Complaints may also be submitted directly to the Bank of Portugal, using the contacts and instructions available at www.bportugal.pt.

 

The client also has the option of resorting to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms through CACCL and CAUAL, both based in Lisbon, where complaints may be lodged in order to prevent conflicts with this credit intermediary.

As a Tied Credit Intermediary, we are prohibited from receiving or delivering any amounts related to the formation, execution, or early settlement of credit agreements, pursuant to Article 46 of Decree-Law no. 74-A/2017 of 23 June and the provisions of Decree-Law no. 133/2009 of 2 June. In the exercise of their activity, credit intermediaries duly authorised and registered with the Bank of Portugal must comply with the rules set out in the legal framework approved by Decree-Law no. 81-C/2017 of 7 July, Bank of Portugal Notice no. 6/2017, and other applicable legal and regulatory provisions.
